I live and work in Gweedore in northwest Donegal. Where we have the sea on one side and the mountains on the other, including the beautiful Errigal Mountain. I was born here where we speak Irish (Gaeilge) our native language.

I started out as a painter and decorator before returning to college as a mature student to study fine art in York Street, Belfast.

With the light and weather changing on our beautiful landscape all the time. You can experience all four seasons in one day.

I paint in oils, where I give freedom to my hands on a blank canvas. With plenty of paint, brushes and whatever else I can get my hands on to apply it.

I would describe my work as being abstract with the use of vibrant colours.

Work held in private and public collections including that of Donegal County Council, The Glebe Gallery and Work published in An Leabhar Mhór na Gaeilge,
